[tn-bird] Birds I saw in northern Mississippi

In my work I travel sometimes thru northern Mississippi
in Desoto County. These are the birds that I saw between
17 and 23 March 2002.
2 horned larks flew up from a soybean field
1 red headed woodpecker sitting in a cypress tree
2 northern flickers
4 large red-tailed hawks preening in the sun on top of a silo
flocks of common grackle
4 eastern bluebirds
1 cardinal
2 bluejays
4 american robins
6 northern mockingbirds
14 house sparrows
4 mourning doves
2 mallard ducks
1 wood duck
2 canada geese
3 red-winged blackbirds
a flock of starlings
