[TN-Bird] Birding Safety - My Ordeal At Barnegat Jetty Last Sunday

I originally posted this on Jersey Birds alerting birders about my 
horrendous experience last Sunday at Barnegat.

But Carmen asked me to  repost it on PA Birds this evening so that 
perhaps it will hopefully prevent someone else from repeating my 
mistake. I was on the jetty photographing Harlequins and other sea birds 
when I slipped and fell into the jetty. I was trapped for over an hour 
before the Barnegat Fire Department Rescue Squad and Coast Guard were 
able to bring me to safety.
