Steve Stedman and I toured and birded the Big South Fork NP on Friday. We =
covered a LOT of the roads across the park and had a few nice sightings, =
including a few firsts of the fall for us. We heard Pine Siskins on 2 =
occassions. We also had one Brown Creeper, 3 Fox Sparrows (in a nice mix =
sparrow flock), and a Vesper Sparrow. One bobcat in the road was a nice =
bonus. Nice weather and changing leaves made for a great day of birding.
