I spent an hour and a half at Bell's Bend Park (Davidson Co.) yesterday
morning with the primary objective of getting some good Henslow's Sparrow
photos. Mission accomplished, see pictures here if interested:

.
The Henslow's were singing very actively and I do not think I have ever
gotten eyes on a singing bird as quickly and easily as I did yesterday; it
literally took a matter of seconds after I heard the first song. The only
other interesting item of note was a couple of Blue-winged Warblers that
were behaving as if on territory. I will keep tabs on them and see what
develops.
