Barn Swallow seen in Bedford Co last Wed, March 23. !st Purple Martin in Warren
County on Friday Mar 25.
Goldfinches and purple finches have invaded the feeders today...in mass numbers.
I had six to eight Purple Finches all weekend (pairs- male/female) long.
Several Goldfinches are looking more "black" on their wings Saturday...most
goldfinches, howvever; have what I term, the "Salvador Dali" appearance, still.
Chipping Sparrows singing around our house and present at feeder Friday, too.
I still await my wood thrush and Parula to greet the spring in!
