Ken Nichols and I discovered a Bald Eagle's nest on Parksville Lake (Lake Ocoee) in Polk County on January 20, 2006. We observed activity at the nest but could not confirm if the eagles were sitting on eggs. There was an adult and sub-adult seen around the lake last year and stayed around the nest area alot. I contacted TWRA and the Forest Service and no one was aware of a nest in this area. Could this be a new nesting pair in Polk County?
