[TN-Bird] Bald Eagle (Greene Co., TN)

Greene County 
Alice Loftin and I observed a Bald Eagle circling over the Nolichucky River 
this afternoon at Jones Bridge (along Highway 350). Initially, we thought the 
bird was an adult, but upon closer inspection, we concluded that it was an 
older subadult. Visible from below were white flecking on the underparts and 
dark coloration on the distal end of the rectrices. The head appeared white, 
but we couldn't be sure that brown streaking wasn't present.
