Birding after work at Gallatin Steam Plant this evening (8/27):
Dc cormorant (100+)
GBH
Great egret (50+)
Green heron (2)
Snowy egret (1-2)
Wood duck
BV/TV
Rt hawk
Am kestrel
Am coot  
Killdeer
Greater yellowlegs (4-5)
Lesser yellowlegs (2)
Pectoral SP (1)
Baird's SP (1)(on mudflat near coal pile)
Least SP (50+)
Semipalmated SP (5-10)
Medium sized tern (sp?)
Black tern (2)
Caspian tern (40+)
Great horned owl
Eastern kingbird
E wood peewee
Barn swallow (15-20)(1000+ purple martins on the power lines last week gone and 
replaced by 1000s of starlings)
RW blackbird
