I set up feeders this year for first time. I had a suet feeder and had been
waiting to see the woodpecker promised on the package. Only thing I had seen
on it was mockingbird. Today I had a downy woodpecker, and was so excited.
It's kinda funny I still get excited about silly stuff like this considering I
see them all the time at other places.
Also today in my yard I had an Eastern Meadowlark. Its color was so bright.
It was, for lack of better word, awesome. Shortly thereafter I had a flicker.
Tomorrow trying to go to either Cross Creek or Reelfoot.
