Bob Ingle and I spent Sunday, April 27, birding around Ky Lake. We managed to
list 105 species, most of which were breeding birds. We saw only a handful of
shorebirds, and migrant passerines were in short supply. We did see briefly a
beautiful adult male Audubon's Warbler at the entrance to the Bear Creek
Refuge, LBL. This is the third sighting I have noticed this spring on Tn-bird.
Is there a movement of these birds east this year, or are there just more
observers in the field???
Cheers
