TN-Birders, I've just seen the most amazing movie - - Winged Migration. It was made in 2001 (many of you may already have seen it) by Jacques Perrin and shows migratory practices of birds all over the world. You'll see absolutely unbelievable flight sequences. It was on Dish Network's True Channel (#345) and will be shown again next Thursday at 6:15pm Eastern time. It's also available in DVD from Amazon.com and might even be found at your local library. I copied the following review: "Winged Migration is a glorious celebration of birds in flight, conveying the beauty, the amazing feats of strength and the endurance of their long distance journeys. Here is one to stir your soul!"
