Walter S Davis Blvd Marsh

The American Golden Plover found by Justin Hamlin yesterday afternoon
continued this Wednesday morning at the Walter S Davis Blvd Marsh.
It was seen with Killdeer on the dry lake bed. The lake is nearly dry
except primarily for some rivulets of water. I observed the bird from
the side of the road near where Schrader Lane intersects Walter S.
Davis Blvd. While viewing from the weedy end of the paved pull in at
the marsh may well provide a closer view and better photo opportunities,
it is heavily invested with chiggers.
