Here are some of the recent actions of the Tennessee Bird Records Committee.
I would like to thank everyone who took the time to submit records to the
committee and remind everyone that we would appreciate documentation of the
species (requiring documentation) as
listed in the Official List of Tennessee Birds (which is in the Tennessee
Bird Records Committee section of the Tennessee Ornithological Society
website).
The recent article on bird records committees in last month's Birding
magazine mentioned the Tennessee Bird Records Committee at the low end of
the number of records processed per year.
Documentation forms can be downloaded off the TOS website.
Thanks,
Kevin Calhoon, secretary, Tennessee Bird Records Committee
