[TN-Bird] AHA!

I had occassionally been seeing Yellow-billed Cuckoos in the woods behind
the house (West Knoxville) this summer but was dissappointed that they
hadn't been calling.  I love hearing their call.  And with as much rain
as we had last week you'd think the raincrows would be calling all the
time. ;-)

Turns out I was just listening at the wrong time.  I was out taking
pictures of some moths at the lights last night (24 June) at around
11:30 PM when I heard a YB Cuckoo calling.  I didn't realize they
called at night but a check with Bent's Life Histories reveals:
"The song of the yellow-billed cuckoo is often heard during the
night,...."
