[TN-Bird] A Yellow Morning

I don't know when or where "you're yellow" became a derogatory term, but
it certainly doesn't apply to warblers. We had a beautiful parade of
yellow this morning as a male Hooded, male Kentucky, immature male
Yellow, Northern Parula, and female Common Yellowthroat came through the
yard. A female Scarlet Tanager and several dozen resident American
Goldfinches added to the elegance.

Ruby-throated Hummingbirds numbers have increased since the cool front
arrived - they drank over a gallon of sugar water yesterday. If we
could just persuade that pesky little Eastern Wood Peewee to stop
attacking everything that moves, who knows what we might see.
