I caught up with Jeff Wilson and Mike Todd today for a good day of birding. We
located the Imm. Little Gull in the Early afternoon and had great looks. It is
my 300 th Tn. Bird. Not a bad bird for the 300th.!! We also relocated the Red
Necked Grebe. Jeff found a black headed gull which turned out to be a
Franklins. The ducks on the Lower Blue Basin are really increasing and so are
the Gulls. Just before dark and after I left they relocated the adult Little
Gull. We also had a Common Yellowthroat, winter wren, swamp sparrow, Cedar Wax
wings, 70 snow geese, 4 horned Grebes along with all the Ruddy ducks and Scaup,
Pied billed Grebes. I will let Jeff put the story together as he does so well.
Good Night.
