Hi all,
We just received confirmation that we will have a very special guest,
May 12th, Michael Kalter W8CI, and the topic will be the 2009 Hamvention
running May 15 - 17 in Dayton, OH.
Here are excerpts of Michael's bio from QRZ.com:
He lives about 30 miles south east of Dayton, Ohio south of the city of
Xenia, Ohio. He has been very actively involved with the Dayton Amateur
Radio Association (DARA-Hamvention) serving as the president for the
last two years-limited by term limits. He also served as president of
his local EMA board (Emergency Management Authority). He enjoys 20
meters and likes building and experimenting with dipoles. Other hobbies
include backpacking, bicycling, motorcycling, and music.
We will discuss the Award winners who will be honored and some 'weird'
facts along with needed info for the week.
This should be a great net especially before net members leave for
Dayton later in the week. So bring your Hamvention questions to TIPSnet
May 12, 7pm - 8pm EST on our normal outlets. (see below)
