Hello! I hope all is going well.
The latest service pack for Windows XP (Service Pack 3), has been pushed out
via Windows Update without any noticeable problems. I personally have not
encountered, nor received any calls, pertaining to any problems with this
update.
Windows Vista Service Pack 1 for the most part has gone well. Few problems
have come up, primarily hardware issues. Microsoft is still working on some
bugs as we increasingly see with more and more updates being released.
Unfortunately, this email does contain a little bit of bad news. Due to
several economic, trade and industry factors, I will be increasing my hourly
consulting rates by 25% to all clients beginning August 1st. Be aware this
DOES NOT pertain to any written contracts, monthly backup services or monthly
hosting services. Also, remember I do not mark up any equipment you purchase
through me -- what I pay is what you pay!
