[thinkpad] Python.

Like many sensible people, IBM seem to have installed Python for
some reason or other. Its there if you type python at the command
prompt.
However, it shows up as version 2.2, which is getting decidely ancient?
Wonder what happens if I install 2.4 ?
Wonder just how good their pythoneers are!
