I'm not convinced there's much in the way of instructions sent over ICA
- I figure it's more in the way of regions, or partials.
Historically, this was why ICA was better / lighter / faster (said in a
Six Million Dollar man kinda way) than RDP over a wan (ICA was - dunno
if still true, but I've got no reason to doubt it, and the logic still
sounds likely - much better at partial screen updates than RDP, but the
difference wasn't so clear or obvious with full screen updates - and
normal usage will probably tend towards a warm, cosy blend of the two),
but why the difference wasn't so obvious, or clear (depending on
application / desktop usage) at LAN speeds.
