Jim,
This really shouldn't be the case but I believe you! I wonder if name
resolution is somehow different on a WI system than a standard Windows install?

Got it, find the Hosts FIle on the each of the WI servers open it with
notepad and add a line with the IP address for each Citrix/sta server that
corresponds with that WI Server. Follow the example format I am telling you
just by adding the IP's to the Hosts file it will increase you login speeds by
about 10 times. I know it sounds crazy like it would have nothing to do with
things but it does work. You may have to restart the web service on the WI but
probably not.

servers with NLB. Each of the CSG machines has the addresses of 5 PS4 Servers
in the STA configuration, each CSG machine addresses of a different set 3 PS4
servers to spread load out...
For example
CSG1 has servers 1-3
CSG2 servers 4-6
CSG3 7-9
CSG4 10-12
THe other 15 servers addresses are not in the STA hosts should All our PS4
servers be in STA files?
the CSG/wi machines are in a DMZ and the citrix servers are on the production
segment. Secure Gateway Direct

Sounds like maybe you are using web interface and CSG? Add the IP addresses of
your citrix servers (sta) to the hosts file on the Web interface server. Watch
what happens. : )

"painfully slow" connection after moving from MF XP to PS4? The hardware is
the same, and the servers are not stressed as far as capacity. The XP farm
has windows 2k and the PS4 farm is running win2k3. Client is 32bit web client
Version 10.0.
However users report that after we moved them over the applications (same app
as the XP ) is painfully slow.
