[THIN] Re: printer aggravation

Along these same lines, what is the advantage of the universal driver or
better question, enforcing universal for all printers? Obviously not
having to install 100 drivers on your citrix box is the obvious answer
but what if you only have a handful of drivers to worry about? Then you
use universal if someone has say a home printer they need to connect fom
the outside.

Subject: [THIN] printer aggravation

FOr the most part I love the new Universal printer, but even with that
I am encountering various printers that do not print. Primarily I am
having trouble with various Lexmark printers and the HP LaserJet 1022.
Currently by citrix policy I enforce universal driver for all printers,
but I am looking at creating an exemption policy for those users that
are having trouble with printing and trying to setup a mapping for those
paticular models that are giving me fits.

ANy ideas on the best way to go about that or what drivers I should use?
I know currently there are issues with the Lexmark X3550, Lexmark T520,
and HP laserJet 1022

Of course I also have issues with various users running Mcaffee and its
printer issues are always fun.
