[THIN] Re: per device or per user 2003 licensing.

I don't see it ever happening in Windows 2003.  The logistics are just too 
great and it would kill their user base that they are trying to grow. It would 
not be a gainful move on their part to do so. They are pushing collaborative 
computing from any device.  People won't buy into that if they have to purchase 
a license for every phone, laptop, refrigerator or whatever they own in order 
to connect.

Yet. :) Eventually MS will turn this on, and organizations who are
taking advantage of the per-user licensing "hole" may find themselves on
the wrong end of the MS pricing schedule when per-user licensing is
enforced.
