When upgrading the datastore and license server from 4.0 to 4.5 is it
just a straight in place upgrade (pop the media in and hit "upgrade")?
Is it that simple?

I upgraded my license server and datastore to 4.5. The rest of the
servers are still 4.0. It seems to work just fine.

Am I thinking right that I could simply upgrade our License server to
4.5 and then start installing new PS4.5 servers without a problem?

Thanks for the reply,

Was there anything you had to do for licensing or the datstore?

We currently have a farm of 12 PS4.0 servers and have 24 new servers to
install. I would like to load PS4.5 on them, is there any issues with
having the 2 versions in the same farm?

Thanks,

George
