Even when maximised, the application doesn't appear on the task bar. The only way to get the app back is by using alt-tab, or going into the connection manager, setting the connection to full screen, hitting ctrl-f1 to get task manager and switching to the app from there. I have tried settings suggested on the citrix site and forums setting Seamless Exception Registry Flags on the hosting server but it hasn't made any difference. I would prefer not to run this application in a window...
