[THIN] Re: macintosh clients


Depends on your version (9/OSX). Are you using server connections or
published applications? One way to get around the multiple addresses
(ie multiple farms) is to use Nfuse 1.6x with Columbia. You could
probably do the same with 1.7, but it's not worth the hassle of a
MSSQL database. We use both the local and Java clients connecting to
1.0, 1.8, XPe. The Java client is easier to manage but a little more
setup intensive.

For those of you with Macintosh clients and a Windows 2000 MetaFrame XP
server Farm...

Do you recommend using the Java client, or a local macintosh client? We
setup a local macintosh client but cannot enter multiple IP addresses or
servers to attach to the farm - only one allowed.

Any suggestions?
