[THIN] Re: loopback

The user and computer configuration from the GPO in the Computer OU will apply.
The User setting from the Users OU will also apply. If there is a conflict
between settings on the User portion of the two policies, The 'Computer OU GPO'
should win. Personally, I would not set the loopback on the 'Users OU GPO.'
Is there a specific reason you have that set?

Confused; if I have a GPO applied to my PCs in 'Computer' OU and I log on with
a user from 'Users' OU, bioth with Loopback on, what happens?

Loopback prevents both user and machine GPO settings from outside the
OU from taking effect, user and machine settings from GPO's within the OU do
take effect

Question about Loopback GPO….does only the computer configuration
settings take effect or are both user config and computer config settings
effective when using loopback? For example, I have a TS OU which contains a
2003 terminal server. GPO is linked, users are in 2k domain and loopback is
enabled. Do all settings take effect or just computer config?
