Try watching TaskMgr processor utilization. We found that during these =

I'm not sure what kind of detail you want. Office, Exceed, KEA... there =
are
quite a few. When the problem happens, everyone's typing or mouse is
delayed for about four seconds. When I am running a perfmon at the same
time, I get no data collected during the interval. This is unlikely to be =
a
cpu problem since I run the priority of perfmon all the way up during the
capture. Also, if it were a CPU issue, it would have to be two separate
processes causing the takeover.

I am not advocating the use of TScale as the general solution to this
problem, but we have several reports from customers who have used TScale
for its intended purpose (to increase the number of concurrent users per
server), and that a happy side effect of TScale optimizations has made =
these
typing delays go away. The most common report is from customers who are
using Lotus Notes with MetaFrame and Win2K.

This is the exact issue I am working with on MS right now. I have heard
others report this issue. Unfortunately, PSS has apparently no method to
troubleshoot this issue excpet by giving them an image of your system and
running benchmark tools. At leasts, that is what they are telling me. =
They
also claim no one else has this issue. But, you are about the 8th site I
have heard with this issue.

I am having problem with latency in my XPa /W2K environment. It occurs in
both when using Lotus Notes and Word. It has started getting bad again =

that all the staff is back from holidays.
I have done some searching on thethin archives, and found reference to "a
small program that measures latency" but I was unable to find this tool in
the downloads. Anybody know where I can get this to objectively measure
the latency?
We do hae speedscreen defined, and I have seen discussion regarding =
setting
the cursor blink rate (although I'm unclear whether that should be set =
