No....such things like PS4 hotfix PSE400W2K3009 screws up registry
permissions under the HKLM\Software\Citrix key. The users need read
permissions to this structure, where as the hotfix removes the inherrited
permissions. And then you get the issue experienced in this thread. So it
doesn't necessarily have to be user profile related.

On a doggy MSI looking for the users porfile that installed it, that
probally isnt in the server.

Yep...the App log will tell you what is going on. Usually a permissions
problem in the registry.

Check the Application Log for MsiInstaller events. They are generally
descriptive enough to tell you what is missing.

Bad office installations can cause office apps to run the installer to
attempt repair. So this may be a symptom. Used to see that all the time
with Office 95/2000/XP â but havenât really seen it on 2003 (but maybe Iâm
lucky).

Ok, maybe this is the cause of all my problems BUT the Installer service is
constantly starting and stopping on certain servers. Installer was sent a
start control and then a bit later shuts down. Anyone else think this is
the cause of my problems????????
