[THIN] Re: ica fails to launch

There is a problem with the 10.15 ICA client where the apps do not
launch and no error is displayed (as you are experiencing) , or when the
apps fail to launch Error 2306 pops up.
to verify if you are having the same issue, download the launch.ica then
open it in notepad. find the line "RemoveICAFile=yes" and change it
to "RemoveICAFile=no" . double click the ICA file, if it launches you
are likely experiencing this same problem
See Citrix forum tread

A workaround is to change the client type to "embedded native" from
"native" within the Web Interface.

They are using version 10.1 of the Web client.
IE 6
Looks like Windows 2000 for this one client
My other 2 have windows XP
I just finished having them Uninstall and reinstall the 10.1 client
cleanly.

The browser issues should not stop the client from launching
when they save the ICA file to their desktop and then Double-click it
from there. I have had them try this step and the same thing occurs, it
does not even attempt to connect.
