Hi Jason
You don't need a bootloader to update the units. You can go two ways about this:
1. Update using the wyse USB firmware tool (tool and instructions download
below):

20Firmware%20Tool(Wyse%20Imaging%20Tool)
2. Internal FTP site. Create and internal FTP site and copy the firmware to the
FTP, then point your
Wyse terminal at the ftp site. Instructions can be found at:
http://www.wyse.com/supportdownload/1series/HowToReImage1Series.pdf
These are old instructions for a different model but the same process applies.
