[THIN] Re: automatically go to term services logon after boot?

It only makes sense, you have to pay to upgrade... You now have to pay =
to stay the same (new MS Enterprise Licensing agreement). So the next =
logical step would be to pay for to downgrade.

Knowing Microsoft, they'll tell me "so sorry..." haha. But you're =3D
right, my clients WOULD be downgraded so I should have to pay them for =
=3D
the TS cals.

You may be able to talk to Microsoft about obtaining the TS-CALs for the =
=3D
=3D3D
downgraded clients. Since you already have W2k Pro, you may be entitled =
=3D
=3D3D
to obtain those cals.

Yea I know about the citrix licensing, got my prices from my reseller =
=3D
=3D3D
=3D3D3D
already :)

Well it sucks that I'd have to shell out of additional TS cals if I run =
=3D
=3D3D
=3D3D3D
in DOS with the ICA client because I already have Windows 2000 Pro at =
=3D
=3D3D
=3D3D3D
the desktop, so I actually have what's needed to get the TS cals. But, =
=3D
=3D3D
=3D3D3D
if I don't run 2000 Pro, and opt to run DOS, then I'd have to go out and =
=3D
=3D3D
=3D3D3D
buy additional TS cals! Man, is that ever screwed up. =3D3D3D20

You would need TSCALs if you are connecting from a DOS based client.

From what I read before, you are connecting to plain 2K Terminal =3D3D3D
Servers. =3D3D3D20
If that is the case, you will need to install Citrix Metaframe and =
=3D3D3D
purchase=3D3D3D20
Citrix licenses in addition to the Windows TSCALs.
