all great ideas, thanks guys. On that note I was wondering, is there any way to limit a user so they don't log onto a server more than once? That way here if my generic account is only used 6 times concurrently and I have 10 citrix servers there won't be an issue with printers overwritting. -----Original Message----- From: Greg Reese [mailto:GReese@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, April 09, 2004 9:41 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: autocreation blues A headache but doable. Make it a mandatory profile and script it at = login. Then the setting doesn't stay stuck in the profile and follow = the user around. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Mack, Rick Sent: Friday, April 09, 2004 6:59 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: autocreation blues Hi, When a number of users log on with the same username, they all share the same profile. So if one user changes something, it changes for all users that are using the same profile. Even if you assign printer by workstation, setting the default printer is still going to be a headache. I'm in a hospital enviorment and are using local created autocreated LPR printers (no 2k print servers). But we have generic accounts logging into multiple systems so this is going to be a problem.
