you can modify the install with an mst , i did it for adobe 6 i dont see why
you cant do the same for adobe 7 , have a mooch around you'll find the
source somewhere to take out all kinds of things from standard adobe, which
incidently i would not put without modifying onto a terminal server farm ,
it runs like a dog. if you dont need various filters and the like , take
them out with a scripted install... it runs much faster and cleaner

That's the actual toolbar Joe, not the advertising as per Matthews
question. Even if you download without the toolbar you will still get the
advertising.
Cheers,
Jeremy.

You can download Adobe Reader 7 without the Yahoo toolbar… Simply uncheck
the box (second one) which is located below the OS selection.

I’m running Adobe Reader 7 on XP and am noticing that on the toolbar it
displays “Yahoo toolbar get it free” link and then changes to “PDF eBooks
read one for free”. Does anyone know of a way to disable this advertising?
Thanks,
