Wyse to introduce new super-thin SBC concept?

In Q2 2006 Wyse, one of the biggest thin client manufacturers, is set to put a new product on the market called Wyse Streaming Manager. There's not much unveiled yet, but for what ik can make up out of their press-release and datasheet they will stream not only applications (like Softricity) but also the workstation operating system (Windows XP Professional and Windows 2000 Professional are said to be supported).
The thin client hardware requirements are a 800mhz CPU and 265MB RAM and it does not need any flash or harddrive. It isn't stated as such but i asume one will need to buy special thin client devices (from Wyse of course...) to use with Streaming Manager, although it might be that existing thin clients and/or pc's with PXE capabilities will be supported. Again there's not enough information yet to be sure.

It certainly is something to keep watching out for the comming year!
