They are using the Citrix 7.X clients.  
 
Works fine as far as I have seen.
 
So long as application 1 is on the same server as application 2,  and that
server is not the more busy of several in a load balanced environment, I
believe this works.

Session Sharing ... launch one application log in etc etc launch another
without reloading a profile/login script etc etc
