[THIN] Re: Wireless Keyboard Issues

Is it a Bluetooth or radio? Have you replaced the batteries in it? Is
the secure mode setting on it turned on?
The last one is most important because we have seen when users turn this
on they tend to have more problems.

Also, does the user have local apps on the pc and how does it respond to
those local apps, i.e. noncitrix?

Thank you all for the responses. The user has a laptop and evidently
uses a
Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse when in the office. The user also has
a
Sprint PCS wireless card for use when he is traveling, but it should not
be
connected or sending signals while connected to the office LAN.

Ordinarily, I would agree that users can complain about slowness as a
matter
of course. However, when this user tries the Citrix connection from the

office using the laptop keyboard, he says the response is fine. So, it
looks like something related to the wireless keyboard only.

I'll ask if any other PC's in the office have a wireless keyboard/mouse,
or
if there are any other wireless devices that could be causing
interference.
Thank you.

You can find out if it's really slow by giving the complainers a wired
keyboard. If they are happy to stick with it, there's a problem ;-)

I know this sounds overly simple...but users always complain about
Citrix
being slow. Sure its not just how they perceive it?

Does anyone have any experience using wireless keyboards on PC's
connected
to Citrix sessions. This is the first we've had this situation, and
users
are complaining about slow typing response when using the wireless
keyboards
during a Citrix session. Any ideas on what may be causing the problem
and
how to alleviate it?
