Think about it.

Take Server 2008, that it comes out of the box really lean and light,
install the Desktop Experience by default...you have the new Vista.

Does this really mean that the new Vista will be garbage?  Or will it be
much better and closer aligned with Server (than Vista is)??

No, but the potential for a much lighter OS is there, maybe not the fantasy
that WinMin might have been - but the potential for improvement is huge
(that is a easy statement to make).
