There really isn't much of a comparison. Sure microsoft has added sound =
=3D
and higher colour depth to RDP but TS still lacks in many areas:

No published apps
No real load-balancing (by application). In the microsoft world, all =
=3D
apps would have to be on NLB servers. With Citrix, farms can be split =
=3D
up according to apps. (No need for the piggish app to slow down another =
=3D
user's Word session)
No real security, Microsoft VPN is a joke. Citrix can provide SSL =3D
Encrypted sessions.
No CSG
No Web based Portal such as NFuse Classic or Secure Access Manager
No network monitoring, resource monitoring, application Package (that is =
=3D
native to W2k3)
No management console to manage the Farm.

I have a client who is running WinNT Server and is convinced he should =
=3D
move
to Citrix for his mfg. plant. I understand that Windows Server 2003 has
beefed up it's Terminal Services to match the features of Citrix. Does
anyone have any insight into this comparison?

Thanks,

Rick
