Yes but NLB is not resource based what means it does not care about
CPU/# of users/Paging etc. Also it does not support reconnection to the
right server (unless you use 2003 Enterprise). WTSGateway Pro does all
that even with Windows 2000 Server.

If he is going TS2003 wouldn't he be able to do NLB for free?

As I said it is just a matter of adding this to an existing product that
we currently sell for US$ 299.00 (to load balance two terminal servers,
regardless of how many users/CPUs/Hyperthreading - :-) - you have).
How does that compare to the difference in price between XPs and XPa?

depends how much you're looking to charge for it! :D

we're planning on going over to 2003 with new hardware and ditching our
sec=3D3D3D
ond mf box, going to just the one.. leaving me with hardware lying
around a=3D3D3D
nd a much emptier rack :)

Hey guys,

As you are the best Citrix list around, I guess I must ask this question
here first.
I was playing with my WTSGateway Pro software last night and I figured
out we can easily change it to support ICA/XML. This means if you have 2
or 3 MetaFrame XPs servers, you would be able to load balance them
(resource based load balancing) without having to use Xpa. My question
is, is this worth anything? Or XPs is pretty much dead?
Also how much would you save on licensing if you get XPs instead of Xpa
for let's say 90-100 users (assuming around 30-35 users per server)? I
do not sell Citrix at all so I have no idea what is the price difference
between XPs and Xpa per user and even if XPs is still available.
Finallyt I want to let you know we will be releasing bi-directional
audio for RDP very soon in case anyone is interested. :-)

See ya!
