There must be something in missing from our standard ICA client package which affects pass through - a clean install of the latest 9.1 client works fine. Thanks for the suggestions guys. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Jeff Sent: 08 March 2006 17:19 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Web Interface 4.0 and pass through I, too, have seen goofy, un-reproducible, stuff when hacking the msi. Clean is good. On 3/8/06, Lee, David (ISD) < David.Lee@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: No offence taken, it never hurts to check the obvious stuff! I've already worked through the troubleshooting guide and have checked ica is set correctly. Should also have mentioned pass through works fine if I use PN to connect direct to a Citrix server. I'm starting to think there could be a glitch in our standard build ICA client - the MSI has been tweaked in package studio for GPO deployment. I've just tried installing the latest 9.1 client downloaded straight off the Citrix web site, but I'm now getting a different problem - being prompted to download launch.ica when clicking on a published app in Web Interface. Going to try again with a clean PC image. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> [mailto: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Jeff Sent: 08 March 2006 16:37 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Web Interface 4.0 and pass through Is ica on the PS server set to prompt for password? Please don't take offense if you've already checked. I have made this mistake before ;) On 3/7/06, Lee, David (ISD) < David.Lee@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:David.Lee@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > wrote: We are testing Web Interface 4.0 on a Windows 2003 server to provide access to a Windows 2000 / Metaframe XP FR3 server farm, ICA client versions are PN 8.1 or 9.x versions. Pass through is working fine for the initial logon to the WI, but when launching any published app users are presented with the standard Windows 2000 GINA and must enter their credentials to proceed. Any thoughts on why WI is taking the user credentials from the PC, but does not pass them onto the server farm?
