On install the WI will not even start if you don't have these installed to the system already. When you install up to Windows 2000 SP3 the MS JVM is included and then can be updated via Windows Update. When you start with a full SP4 install, the JVM has been removed from the install package due to the law suit with SUN. MS may have subsequently made it available for download, but as of a few months (when we stopped installing 2000 for clients) you had to search the Internet to find an older version of the MS JVM, install it and then update it with Windows Update....
