I've deployed about 50 of them. The best thing about them is that they boot up in approximately 5-7 seconds. I've noticed a considerable delay in mouse movement and keystrokes compared to an ica client on a pc or on other terminals, however. Wyse wrote a new firmware that fixed the problem, but was ineffective at one customer's site. Their terminals just get a black screen whenever new firmware is loaded. Wyse doesn't know what the problem is as of yet... I've switched to Neoware units which boot a little slower, but are manageable for free and *feel* faster even though benchmarks show the 1200LE is faster. You can remotely manage it via FTP only (kinda difficult). Can't add USB floppy (3200 will). -George Jan Homan wrote: >=20 > Has anyone experience with the WYSE 1200LE Terminal ? >=20 > Pros/Cons are very much appreciated. >=20 > Thanks. >=20 > Jan >=20 > ********************************************** > This weeks sponsor Jetro Platforms > Jetro Platforms offers comprehensive solutions for > server-based computing, secured internet access, > disaster recovery and mixed environment. > http://www.jp-inc.com/ > *********************************************** >=20 > For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or > set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. >=20 > http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm ********************************************** This weeks sponsor Jetro Platforms=20 Jetro Platforms Ltd. is an enterprise software developer,=20 bringing a new era in server-based computing, secured internet=20 access, and disaster recovery.
