I went to the one in Phoenix (Wednesday) and it was a mad house. There had
to have been 3000+ people there.
FWIW: If you do go, MS will make you stay for lunch if you're want a free
copy office. Overall, it was ok, nothing specially.. I will say, that
after installing Vista and Office on my Laptop, I am convinced that
Microsoft hates geeks. It is by far the most unintuitive interface I've
ever used. It took hours to find and tweak the settings on this thing (to
something usable and visually appealing) in addition they took away so of
the good features of XP (I am going to sorely miss my run history).
Anyone on know of any good Linux distro with seamless integration of a GUI
and samba client? I tried Unbuntu, it's ok but still looking something
better.
