Sometimes decisions are impervious to analysis. :)

Curious... The org will upgrade to Vista and run Windows 2003 SP2 but
Presentation Server is still 3.0?

Subject: [THIN] Vista and Citrix ... General issues?

Our enterprise is currently a Windows XP Pro shop, and we are running
MPS 3.0 on Windows 2003 SP2 systems. We use the traditional Program
Neighborhood ICA client version 9.something for our Citrix-enabled
users. We are beginning to compile the list of issues we would face if
we moved to Vista. Can the list enlighten me on the current state of
affairs regarding Citrix and Vista compatibility? I figure we would at
least need to upgrade to a newer ICA client. What else might come up?
