With respect to Citrix, Vmware ESX is a great way to go. Vmware GSX
is great for many other server consolidation tasks, but the value for
Citrix is much less than with ESX.

Aside from sheer user count there are other TCO benefits including
managing fewer server chassis, lower cost to achieve sufficient
hardware redundancy, provisioning, DR.

The company I work for is an IBM eXact partner and we work quite a
bit with Vmware and the new IBM x440 platform.
