Where's your data store located? How is the location of the data store
different from this server if compared to the rest? Do you have other
citrix server than are able to communicate with it?
Can you ping the data store server via ip and name from this server?

I did check for errors in the logs are there are none. We're running
W2K SP3. It gets the "normal" tuning that all our servers do, so its
not that. =3D3D20

What about it's network connectivity???
Did you check the network cards for any errors?
W2k with sp3?
Tuning ...pagefile etc etc.

We brought up a new server in our farm, that's very slow in all it's
activities. Running W2K XPa FR2. I get the error in the event =3D3D
log:=3D3D3D20
IMAService
The Citrix MetaFrame Server failed to connect to the Data Store. Error
- IMA_RESULT_DBCONNECT_FAILURE The database is down or there is a
network
failure.=3D3D3D20
Any quick ideas on what to focus on?
