I was getting the messages from the Management console about 30 seconds
after I attempted to delete an app. There were also errors in the event log
on the server that I had attempted to recreatlhc on.
Fixed the problem. Turns out that the Database log file on the SQL server
was full. Once that problem was rectified we could delete/modify apps
again. The DBA will hopefully take better care of his servers in the
future.
I did come across a couple of articles that weren't of any assistance to me
but they may be useful to you.

I am seeing similar issues on out farm (MF XPe +FR3 on W2k with SQL2000 DS)
I've been able to recreate the lhc without problems - it just didn't fix
anything.
Were are you seeing the error message? I'm not getting any errors - I just
cannot add or modify any published apps.

I've come across an unusual problem that only seems to have started since I
installed SP4 for Metaframe XP FR3.
I am unable to delete or modify applications. Attempting to do so results
in the error message "Cannot Write Application Data into Server Farm. Error
code:c0050006/80000001".
I've tried recreating the lhc which did not work(the IMA won't start on that
server now). I've read article CTX223496. It is a bit vague and doesn't
really match the fault.
Our data store is on a SQL 2000 box.
Has anyone seen this issue before?
Regards,
James.
