Jesse-
Depends on how you configure your config file. For example, publish a
"desktop" on your citrix farm. Configure the file to connect via the
"published desktop".
The device will boot and present user with CTRL+ALT+DELETE login screen
in approximatley 5 seconds. (Depends on WAN connectivity). The device
works great across low bandwidth connections (even better on high
bandwidth).
I'm not sure why you would want to use RDP but you could publish the RDP
connection that calls your specified app. You could also publish the
Program Neighborhood and allow users to login via Program Neighborhood
to receive a list of published apps.

This is the kind of information I'm looking for yes. $299 is a good =
price. I'm going to need something that ICA/RDP compatible most likely.

Depends on what your objective is. For example.
I like the Wyse 1200LE for it's ease of use, ease of administration,
security, and cost factor.
The Wyse 1200LE runs an 500KB Unix Kernal. This device can grab it's
config from an FTP Server and TCP/IP parameters from a DHCP Server (can
be the same box).
A typical scenario would be to setup a DHCP Server and FTP Server.
Create your config file and copy it to your FTP Server. When the 1200LE
boots (in about 2 seconds) it grabs its TCP/IP parameters from the DHCP
Scope and the scope has information pertaining to the config file.
No information is stored on the device!
Imagine if you had to change 2000 devices...simply change the config
file.
To broaden this concept and allow multiple configs simply create
multiple directories with multiple config files.
You can define your config files to connect to a specific published
application or desktop. You can force a login or allow the user to
input a login...
This device greatly reduces your TCO to the organization at a price
point of $299

Can someone provide me some information on how thin client devices =3D
compare to one another? I've always used PCs for thin clients running

on top of an OS like NT or 2000. I need to look at thin client devices
=3D but am confused as to what features/benefits some provide over the =
=3D others. IBM, Compaq, Wyse, etc. I'm open to any options right now.
