That is generally true as a new PC usually has a faster processor and bigger
graphics card then a thin client device. For many applications the
difference is negligible but it is there- probably a bit more so for RDP
than ICA also..

I have a client who says that performance - specifically screen redraws - is
much better using his client PCs than a Thin Client. Both using RDP 5.x.
I know it's impossible to compare two unknowns, but as a general rule I
always assumed that just about any device running RDP would produce similar
performance. Is that naive of me?
